Nicholas Warner is an architect and architectural historian trained at Cambridge University (UK) and Harvard University's Graduate School of Design. He has lived in Egypt since 1993, where he has participated in and directed numerous projects related to the documentation, preservation and presentation of heritage sites of all periods. His work in Cairo included the Cairo Mapping Project (a new map of historic Cairo showing plans of around 550 buildings in the medieval city).
