Marcel Dadi was a virtuoso French guitarist born in Sousse, Tunisia, who died in the crash of TWA flight 800 shortly after take-off from New York airport. He released his first album in 1972, ‘La guitare à Dadi’ (Dadi's guitar), accompanied by a new mode of transcription for guitar that would be emulated by many amateur guitarists and give them the opportunity to practise fingerstyle guitar.
